A kid in our neighborhood got hit by a speeding car a couple years ago on Halloween, broke his pelvis. That's a looooong and life-changing recovery. It's the cars, man, the cars.

October is here so the youngest made his first round of pumpkin shopping. So far, the only named pumpkins are Greenie and Flame. But they all wanted hugs before bed tonight.

Of course, it's a set on the inside--or maybe just a much bigger library than the ol' West Branch, but I'm just psyched to see some Bay Area library love. We've got some incredible community resources and incredible librarians here.
