Getting older birthdays aren’t really exciting. But my brother really shocked me today by giving me this. He knows I’m missing around 210 of the first 299 issues of ASM from having a current complete collection. One of the more thoughtful (and expensive) gifts I’ve ever received.

From online reserves of switch 2 still quite a bit of fuckery. I have a $600 hold on a credit card for Sam’s club for a membership and switch that was denied still pending. So I purchased membership and switch separately and Switch 2 was OOS but I still have that $50 Sam’s membership.

Really feels like today was the death blow for the games press as a mainstream concern. I’m grateful for independent publications that still cover the medium with plenty of nuance and passion, but it hurts to see a field that gave me so much over the years dry up and deny others those opportunities

Giant Bomb means more to me than I'll ever really understand. They helped me get through some of the best and worst times of my life and I'm forever grateful.
