A disgrace: North Carolina is dead last in public school funding effort and second to last in public school funding level. Yet, the General Assembly is the only legislature in the country that hasn't passed a budget — and they're driving us off a fiscal cliff. www.13newsnow.com/article/news...

Every time the GOP has brought anti-LGBTQI+ bills & amendments for a vote this year, we've always had more members on the House floor speaking out in opposition than the GOP has had speaking in support.

Our members will not stand by silently when our community is under attack.

I was fortunate enough to meet Jason Collins at a Pride event for the @newyorkredbulls.com in 2018. He was amazingly gracious, humble, friendly, tall, and helped me immensely in dealing with some anti-LGBTQ presentations by our local AA baseball affiliate. He is in my prayers.
Former NBA player Jason Collins announced that he is undergoing treatment for Stage 4 glioblastoma, one of the most severe forms of brain cancer.

“Because my tumor is unresectable ... the average prognosis is only 11 to 14 months,” Collins said.

1. In exchange for her NDAA vote, MTG has announced that her national felony trans youth care ban will go to the floor December 17th.

It is not expected to pass into law due to the U.S. Senate.

Still, it will be a terrible historic moment for anti-trans bills.

Rep. MTG just announced that her bill to JAIL parents & doctors who help young trans people access care will be brought up for a vote next week—instead of anything meaningful to avert the healthcare crisis the GOP created.

We're going to do everything we can to defeat this bill.

This is disappointing to read about. If you can pay full tuition without financial aid or merit-based aid - you get first dibs on a great education. Like a reverse NIL where you pay the school and not the other way around.

We watched "The Roses" tonight... and it kinda stunk in a nasty, smarmy, ugly way. Still love Benedict Cumberbatch though. The kids were the only redeeming characters.

Was "War of the Roses" (1990) anything like this? I don't think so.
