"Time After Time" is the best love song ever written. Objective fact.

Just biting content from better journalists now?

Unless angry wine moms actually prevent them from pursuing their agenda, I don't think they care. And as far as they can tell, it is not preventing them from pursuing their agenda.

Conservatives rightly understand that "getting yelled at" isn't an actual material consequence.

I'm saying the reason Canada and the EU have those things is because the workers made the sacrifices an actual general strike entails. That's not an opinion, if you want this to work it will take sustained action and yes, it will hurt people on your side to do it.

When workers went on general strike in 1919 in Winnipeg it was specifically because there were no safety nets. This shit demands sacrifice and hardship on the part of those participating, it's frustrating yanks don't seem to understand that.
January 30, 2026 at 4:21 PM
If it's only lasting a day it isn't a general strike.

"High of -19"

Oh good, it's warming up a little!

Not a rumour, it's been officially announced Machine Games is developing it

It also doesn't allow brutalizing peaceful protests, unwarranted search and seizures or executing citizens in the street. Turns out it's just a legal document and not a magic talisman.

You're not even making sense at this point man. You do need to change it, yes, but by your own assessment the electoral system is rigged by the influence of the wealthy who ensure that one or another both of the available options prioritize their interests above all. Therefore, voting won't fix it.
January 28, 2026 at 11:26 PM
If what you say is true you're just participating in an illusion of not having others choose for you. You get that right?
January 28, 2026 at 11:09 PM
And that's the system you're criticizing people for not wanting to participate in? You're openly admitting you believe it's a sham, an illusion of choice, but condemn those who won't partake in the charade?
January 28, 2026 at 11:00 PM
But if you wanted to US to stop funding a genocide you didn't have a choice whether you voted or not. Voters don't lose elections, candidates do. Harris prioritized support for Israel over defeating fascism. That's just a fact.
January 28, 2026 at 10:24 PM
On that I'd agree, but if you acknowledge candidates haven't felt the need to earn votes since the mid 20th century I don't see how you can really blame people for not wanting to participate in what amounts to a pantomime of democracy.
January 28, 2026 at 10:17 PM
At some point you're going to have to move on from the last election and look to solutions, that includes not alienating the same people Harris alienated to lose the election in the first place.
January 28, 2026 at 10:14 PM
If I were a Dem I'd be way more furious Biden hanging onto power too long to hold a primary, forcing Harris as an option and then her running a godawful campaign where courting Republicans and Zionists was more important than beating Trump. But then I think candidates are supposed to earn my vote.
January 28, 2026 at 10:11 PM
Also who's upset? I just said, I don't live in your fucked up country. From an outsiders perspective though, please be aware Dems look just as unhinged for attacking leftists for having higher standards than "not Trump" for their vote, it's a shame your two corpo parties have your system rigged.
January 28, 2026 at 10:07 PM
Lol he wasn't condemning Trump, he was condemning anybody who didn't vote for Kamala, which wouldn't have been so bad. The insane part was saying those voters are all personally responsible for a murder committed by ICE.
January 28, 2026 at 10:04 PM
Sounds like you do care what choices people make.

Ah well, if I were Yank, and thank the Sun I'm not, I probably wouldn't be putting as much effort as Wil is into villanizing other people opposed to Trump to score cool posting points with libs in any case.
January 28, 2026 at 9:53 PM
Cool that's probably what the people who refused to support Kamala when she refused to oppose a genocide thought too. That sounds real badass though man.
January 28, 2026 at 9:46 PM
He said anybody who didn't vote Kamala, whether they voted third party, voted for Trump or didn't vote at all has Pretti's blood on their hands as though they pulled the trigger themselves.

Which is pretty unhinged shit tbh.

You interpreted politics through the lens of the wizarding world, I interpreted politics through guerilla warfare waged against fascist brain slugs by teens who could turn into animals. We are not the same.
