Madison Plan Commission started tonight with approval of shorter (5ft) rear setbacks for properties mixed-use, employment, and downtown zoning districts near the capital city trail. Staff hopes this allows for more activation of trail space.

A monadnock is just a monoidnock in the category of endofunctors.
10. Wisconsin has both water gaps and monadnocks, and some pretty good ones at that.

Tonight is Madison Plan Commission. The most controversial issue tonight a 93 unit apartment/mixed use building in a commercial district at 4506 Verona Rd. Staff have expressed concerns in its report that this location is general commercial in comp plan, may be inconsistent with residential.

It's pathetic to pretend like these people are being prosecuted or intimidated when they're really just unpopular and keep losing elections
I also really want any proof on intimidation. The meetings still have people speaking against it in public comment. NextDoor is 80% people against development. Fanlund writes his piece whenever he wants. It seems like Paul is actually insecure that maybe he isn't as progressive as he labels himself

I have heard similar stories from people in Madison (not as bad), but what I as a policy maker need is an understanding of what factors are within my control and what's outside of it. Which parts of our RFP process/funding process are going to cause issues? If
A publicly funded affordable housing project with 100 one-bedroom apartments came in at $800,000 per unit.

The same developer built a mostly market rate building NEXT DOOR for $350,000/unit. www.washingtonpost.com/dc-md-va/202...

~45% of US corn production is now used to make ethanol, mostly for mixing into gasoline.

That's ~13% of all US crop land already used for energy production.

Using some of the same land for solar panels would capture 50-100 times more energy per acre.
