I don't want my taxes going to elites! The real "welfare queens" are corporations and billionaires who weasel their way out of paying anything on their gains, putting the entire burden on those of us who actually WORK for our pittance of a living.

They should support homeless people.
They should support those living in poverty, children and the elderly.
This is literally the purpose of taxes, and I would far rather support those who need it than continue to enrich the elite.

So we went to Target today. On the way in, I saw what must have been the start-of-shift meeting, being held OUTDOORS with no coats in 20F (~-7C) weather.
Now, some hours after the trip, my wrist still hurts from controlling the mart-cart, because of the way they work. R lever forward, L lever back.

Criminalizing masks = forced infections.
Masks are a public health tool. They make spaces accessible. If you ban them, people will either need to stay home or consent to forced infection.
We should ALL be angry about this.

As if being chronically ill is a choice (it’s not) and as if it’s acceptable to tell someone to “just die”
This is why assisted dying laws worry me. Our own families see us as better off dead:

I pay the disability tax in taking paratransit rather than the regular bus to get back home from appointments, because the hill by my building is scary-steep.
Of course, my disability has also kept us from moving, because we can't find an accessible apartment in our budget.
