Heard from a friend at Disney+ that there are multiple levels of freakout internally, both from internal dissatisfaction, concerns about subscription cancelations, and of course the big one: concern about a boycott spilling over into parks and cruises.

I grew up in a manufacturing town. Our parents stressed the importance of getting a degree so we wouldn't end up in the factory.
After the union company left town, a nonunion company opened paying half the wages with fewer benefits. Good manufacturing jobs in 2025 are few and far between.
