America — If we want to keep our country as a democracy, we’re going to have to fight to do so.

Staying silent is the same as agreeing to a dictatorship. Speak up and speak out, in any way you can.
If you don’t know about this, you should. ICE is using Paragon’s spyware to access info on protestors’ phones, including contacts, location data, etc. You don’t even need to click on some malware-infected link in order to be affected by Paragon’s spyware; they can latch on to anyone’s phone data.
The U.S. has reactivated its Paragon contract  — and it should alarm everyone - Access Now

I hear this “I thought Democrats were supposed to be the party of peace” argument constantly, but what the GOP doesn’t understand is that a person can be pushed only so far before they fight back with vengeance.

I found a ‘dead’ person on Social Security in Seattle
“Dead” Ned Johnson turns out to be very much alive. It took him weeks to convince the system he was breathing and to start clawing his benefits back.

This country relies on immigrant doctors. Doctors who completed their medical school abroad & then did residency/fellowship in the US represent 25% of the US workforce. If the US stops bringing these doctors, some regions will have no doctors at all.
SICKENING—Trump’s DHS just deported a surgeon from Brown—who is here legally on an H1B visa that doesn’t expire until 2027, & committed no crimes. Trained in the U.S. at Ohio State, University of Washington, and Yale as a **transplant surgeon**, she is a highly trained doctor on kidney transplants.

Facebook’s still fact-checking, but only if you say something negative about Repubs or Elon. You can lie all day about any Democrat and get away with it.

I’d set up a Twitter profile in 2011, only occasionally used it. Finally deleted it 1 month ago, but set up a new profile just so I could tell Elon to go fuck himself. That account was suspended within 5 minutes.

I will never apologize for what I said to Elon. Not my fault he can’t take the heat.
