Excited to share our new preprint! MBOAT2 is known to replace PUFA with MUFA and suppress lipid peroxidation and #ferroptosis. We discovered novel activities of MBOAT2 to potently reduce PUFA in phosphatidylcholine of skeletal muscle relevant to #DMD, #aging, and #sarcopenia 💪
