One very strange thing I've noticed as a software developer is, every team has that one AI evangelist, who's trying to be very visible about applying LLMs

And this guy is almost always the one asking the worst questions about your work.

Hey just checking in about the AI models. Are they supposed to be improving? Is it supposed to happen at least once a year?

What's up with that?

it is sort of interesting that the most expansive conceptions of "harm," those which were associated with the political left during the Obama years, have become practically sole province of political right.
Since the fake M&S story is a wash, the new TERF boogeyman is that tampon shelves are the Walmart Iconostasis which only ovaries may approach

Why am I not able to specify a collection of type signatures (and unit tests), and have the AI fill out my program for me?

This would solve a lot of the pain points that people describe with "vibe coding".

Because you would have a lot of mechanical correctness checks, "for free"

Democrats are too far gone, man
Schumer would have let Khrushchev put nuclear missiles on Cuba, because if he didn’t we’d have World War III.

Trump is a puppet of Putin which is why he's antagonizing Russia's Much Stronger neighbor and largest trading partner.

This will go great for Russia

When people learn that I take COVID precautions, they get stressed. They worry that I'm missing out on important parts of life.

But it's like, my brother, it takes you three weeks to recover from a cold, and this happens twice a year.

Idk who's missing out on more!!

I love AI art because it gives us back reality as it truly is: soaked in glistening condensate of uncertain origins, shadowy yet luminous in a moody dialectic of chrome and chiaroscuro, and every detail decomposing into eldritch fractal madness if you look too close. body without organs horror baby

Explaining current events to my parents is insane. Because it's like "you know that Huge Thing that happened when you were 35 years old and you were reading the news every single day? Oh, you don't? Oh, well, this thing happened back then and now there's an update"
