After last night's game, I don't think it is right for Packers fans to be upset about how annoying Bears fans are right now. I mean, I’d be the same way if my team had not won a playoff game in 15 years and was one of the worst franchises in the NFL. So Packers fans, be kind.

Jesus H Christ, I wish I had the money to put this on highway billboards throughout the country.
It's actually a good thing that previously apolitical normies are finally getting angry and starting to speak out. We need the numbers in the streets and at the polls.

If your response to them is "no, fuck you, too late," then you don't actually care about stopping Trump. You're just preening.

This article reminds me of a rather mediocre yet arrogant writer for The Atlantic who seemed to struggle with the idea that some voters would stop voting because they would start to resent choosing between the far right & Dems like these. www.the-independent.com/news/world/a...

Gambling on the US military kidnapping the leader of a Latin American country like it is some sort of game. This is my country.

Audacious success? Hey, buddy, you want to give it at least a full week before we see what happens here?
Trump's operation targeting Nicolás Maduro can advance U.S. interests—but it remains to be seen whether it actually will, Richard Fontaine argues.

Venezuela attack is probably a good distraction for Trump, bump in approval via rally around the flag. However, 2 questions:
1) what happens if Americans quickly forget about this & go back to Epstein or economy?
2) what if Venezuela descends into civil unrest/war? Will US put boots on ground?

This is how you can tell @cbsnews.com is becoming a right-wing propaganda outlet and not actual news. Of all the names dropped in controversial stories Americans supposedly wanted to talk to him about, not once did he mention Trump’s name with any number of awful things Trump has said or done.

I am a little upset and jealous I didn’t try to become one of these huckster mega-church preachers. Having been to a couple of these, there is so much tax free money to be made. As the Bible says, “Get Rich or Die Tryin.”
While most American churches are struggling to fill pews, megachurches—with Hollywood-style production and and TED Talk–style sermons—are only getting bigger

Have we given any thought about what the future of America will look like if right-wing authoritarianism takes hold and in 20, 30, or 40 years, the government deliberately fails to act and weaponizes public policy as sea levels rise and costal cities go under water?

It might be more accurate to say looking at students as customers is not good, but the reality is universities do seem to view students as consumers, especially when state governments try to balance budgets by cutting spending on higher education.
YOUR STUDENTS ARE NOT YOUR CUSTOMERS.

Get the fuck out of education if that's the way you're talking about them.
