After the picture description, there will be a poem that I have written inspired by this scene. Our photograph shows a close-up of my hand gently holding a clear glass sphere between the thumb and fingers. The hand itself is in black and white, as is the softly blurred background behind it, which appears to be an outdoor setting with trees and foliage. The sphere acts like a tiny lens or crystal ball, reflecting and flipping the landscape upside down. Within it, you can see a bright blue sky with scattered white clouds, lush green trees, and what looks like a calm body of water edged with yellow-green vegetation. The greens are rich and saturated, suggesting summer or late spring, and the blues are crisp and luminous. The colourful world inside the sphere contrasts sharply with the monochrome surroundings. Outside the ball, the trees and background fade into shades of grey, making the bright colours inside the sphere feel even more alive and precious. The effect is as if the person is holding a small, radiant version of nature in their hand and finally,our picture is finished with a white border frame. And now for my poem… I call it ….Holding the Light I hold a small world in my hand, a fragile globe of sky and green, where rivers run in liquid glass and summer lives in shades unseen. Outside, the day is hushed and pale, trees whisper only in charcoal dreams, the air feels heavy with unsaid things, and shadows stitch their quiet seams. It tells me this: That colour does not vanish. It waits. That even in a muted world, brightness can be carried, cupped in careful fingers, shared in gentle glances. So I lift this small miracle higher, let its greens speak to the tired earth, let its sky remind my own how wide hope can be. And I walk on, bringing colour to the darkness, one held horizon at a time.

🌈🧚🧡🤗🌈 in 2013, Squeaky crossed the rainbow bridge. Gratitude n Remembrance for my London girl, who showed up n stayed.
We still miss her so
In both pictures is our domestic shorthair cat named Squeaky. She showed up, small as can be, at our flat one day n did not leave. Classic tabby with beautiful markings n golden eyes. Our English Aristocat. Meowed with an upperclass English accent haha. Still miss her so. This pic she has a blue collar with bell n jewelry. SIMPLE THINGS
Simple things, are special for having a better life.
