I got an A star in GCSE Humanities after not revising at all and then waffling complete bollocks about the pageantry of fox hunting in the exam. Tried to get into the same college was told I had the highest grade in the UK at the interview, but they didn't count that GCSE so I couldn't use it.

I wrote a 15 page report on heraldic symbolism in medieval armor and weapon design for my art history class the night before it was due (8am class). Made up 90% of it (only found one book for reference) and got an A. GenAI could fucking never.

wrote 20 pages on Faulkner's The Bear four hours before final papers were due on trucker pills and coffee and cigarettes and got an A, fuck you.

Tapirs are horse-adjacent, but are often underestimated because a) they're pretty shy in the wild, and b) their legs are much shorter so they appear small, though they're the biggest native land animal in the Americas, south of Mexico City.

Just remembered that I went on a mission to befriend actors with small parts in famous films on fb, and friended two of the Lost Boys, including Brooke, who would chat with me on messenger and was a cool guy, if always clinging to his dreams of a lost boys come back. I miss him.
