This is going around again and it is not true. Like every site on the internet, Bluesky uses machine learning to do a first-pass approximation of image classification to detect and label content. They have repeatedly confirmed outside services do not use Bluesky user data to train their models.

My favorite thing about Jimmy claiming copyright to have videos about him using AI and tracing Disney art for his prints is that he regularly plasters other companies’ logos all over his booth at shows. What a fuckin tool.

James C Mulligan is going after vids and people who call him out for selling AI images. He’s using copyright as an excuse to get them removed, which is so baffling considering he’s a serial tracer. He has claimed official Bambi background art as his own, but there’s so much more.
