I’m currently reading Medgar & Myrlie by @joyannreid.bsky.social (it’s excellent!) and I’d really like to read more about all the civil rights heroes, especially the women who weren’t necessarily in the spotlight themselves but whose support was necessary to the movement.

Had to take a day off from knitting because all these tiny objects on US size 0 needles is not very gentle on my wimpy little wrists. I have to start remembering to wear my wrist supports when I’m working with little needles.

Y’all! Look at this silly little liger I knit for my nephew. Used the #HeyTiger pattern from Mochimochiland (Anna Hrachovec) and went a little overboard with the cheek tufts to give it a mane-ish quality. I hope it brings him some smiles, because I laugh every time I look at it.

I recently got an email from The Laundry Evangelist about the method of cleaning rugs in the snow and then I saw a knitter use the same technique to clean their knits. I’m giving it a whirl today with the gross kitchen rug to see if it works.

Currently knitting the 1301 Sweater and diving into another audiobook. I finished The Undocumented Americans by Karla Cornejo Villaviciencio yesterday and started Medgar & Myrlie by @joyannreid.bsky.social today. Trying to make up for years of ignorance and a whitewashed education.
