So, I did what I loved doing as a kid....reading the TV Guide listings for the week (I was a weird kid). It gave me a small serotonin burst to see that two of my favorite movies are both airing on broadcast on Sunday night.

After a week off, a lot of my coworkers commented that I changed my hair color, but not one of them has said anything about the fact that I pierced my nose. So, either they haven't noticed, don't like it, or by not mentioning it myself I've gaslit 15 men into thinking I've had this all along.

I'm going to assume it was a joke & not intended as malicious that I got a birthday card from a family member joking about us all being insane. My mom had 2 serious diagnosed mental disorders, and I sometimes use dark humor to joke about it. I think it's in bad taste and cluelessly boomer coded.

Holy cow, I haven't been at the grocery store in awhile but the produce section at Fred Meyer has slim pickings. Hardly any carrots, broccoli, potatoes, onions....it's starting.

Last weekend we discovered that the Fred Meyer by our house now carries Cougar Gold cheese. This is fantastic news because it's fucking Cougar Gold. I don't have to order from the creamery or beg my family to bring some to me when they come to visit.

I've been feeling a combination of sad, mad, frustrated, disappointed, and tired for the last week. I want to lay down and stare at the ceiling and cry and yell. Couldn't pinpoint it until now, but I've been masking extra hard at work and in life lately. That has to be it.
