Do I need to still have social media??? Is this needed to be successful in Seattle?

I’m just curious… why is the US Coast Guard on the Seattle/Bremerton ferry this morning? I’ve just never seen them watching people board before!

Dear Men:

Almost all of you are friendly with and/or work with men like this.

Until you make it clear WITH YOUR WORDS AND ACTIONS IN SOCIAL SITUATIONS WITH OTHER MEN that you are unwilling to accept this, it will continue to happen frequently.

End your participation in this.

Seattle!!!

What’s your morning routine? What do you need every morning to feel like you’re ready for the rain, clouds, and the big dark?

Oh Seattle Now, thank you for being a part of my daily routine. My morning coffee and evening drive home would be incomplete without you.

Thank you to whoever painted a big heart over the swastika outside my apartment. A man put that up above his tent and then eventually left and I’ve had to stare at it and the words “Nazi Pride” every morning sick to my stomach. Seattle has Nazi’s even on the street (he verbally confirmed he is one)

Got that depression, anxiety, and rumination combo that makes the brain go zip zap zop and leaves me dehydrated and malnourished. I love October!

This kind of unity is what they fear. If Portland is “war torn” the war they are referring to is happening in the hearts and minds of every individual who sees through their attempts to divide, oppress and subjugate. If that is the case, then there is a war. We are winning it. #portland #solidarity

Seattle Mayor Bruce Harrell is seeking reelection partly based on the claim he’s responsible for adding 3,000 emergency housing units. A deeper look reveals that’s an embellishment.

Grateful to have a fiancé who makes sure I’m safe. Confusing sometimes to have someone care like this

Love that the mariners won, but I’m fucking PISSED that every fucking entrance to get to my apartment is blocked by SPD. Like they’ve completely shut down the turns. It’s 11 pm and I got off work an hour ago

I’m reading 1984 for the first time since I was first required to read it in school, which was what? 9th grade?

How did I miss the misogyny back then? I mean from the get go, Winston *hates* women. And we can argue back and forth about his character development, but reading this when I’m older,
