We watched Robin Hood Men in Tights and I finally remembered why I always thought Patrick Stewart was Scottish instead of English, because he does a Scottish accent in this (in parody of Sean Connery doing the part in Prince of Thieves)

One thing about being a long time foreigner in a different country is when you meet people yr the first person from X country that lives here in at least a little while but they are the thousandth person you've met so you develop a routine about all the differences that you just run through by rote.
