Does anyone else get a little eye twitch when they're tired? I told my boyf that I had the sleepy twitches and he looked at me like I'd 12 heads. I can't be the only slightly-twitchy-sleepy- person?

Thinking of Savita on this dark day in Irish history.

Abortion should be free, safe, legal, local for everyone
Otd in 2012 Savita Halappanavar died after being refused a life-saving abortion in Ireland.
Her death led to huge demonstrations and helped put Ireland on the road to legalisation of abortion in a referendum in 2018. This is the story of that movement:

I think what work best in this poem is the restrained understatement. The knowing, helpless voice of the child.

When 50 men went on trial in France, accused of raping a woman who had been drugged by her husband, Manon Garcia was in the courtroom – and in the prosecutors’ closing arguments. How does she make sense of what happened?

One of the most extraordinary things about Northern Ireland Unionists is they love the UK even though the UK pays not the slightest bit of attention to anything that happens in the North of Ireland.
Kemi Badenoch: "Last time I checked Northern Ireland did vote to leave."

Might be good idea to check again.
