Frogs make our hearts soar!

We in NW Arkansas are pulling for you as you lead American resistance!

We shall overcome some day.
Anti-ICE protesters are having a rolling noise demo and protest in downtown Minneapolis targeting hotels where federal agents are reportedly staying -- starting at the Canopy by Hilton and going to the Renaissance Minneapolis Hotel. Police have just arrived as we are posting this.

A career federal agent says that in 25 years, a fleeing vehicle has never justified killing its occupant, and officers should never stand in front of a running car. CBS reportedly pulled the interview, but it posted on YouTube.

Great piece by my Cato colleague. “Since July, immigration agents have shot at least six people behind the wheel of a vehicle. The same playbook is used each time: the agent says they “feared for their life” as a vehicle was “weaponized” against them. Juries should decide, but we tie their hands.
Opinion | Renee Good wasn’t the first person shot in her car by ICE. The justification followed a familiar script.
Mike Fox: The officer who shot and killed a woman in Minneapolis might never have to defend his actions before a judge or jury.

I don’t think folks appreciate enough that the reason Minneapolis was prepared for this moment is because of all the organizing from (and before) Black Lives Matter.

The people showing up now have showed up for a long time. And they have no intentions of stopping.

Maybe time to just cancel everything in the state until they withdraw? Cancelling NBA and NHL games because the states isn't safe would start to wake up the normies and bring pressure.

Herr Trump wants them to crack. It's a chance to move in violently. We are under attack by our own government, citizens. Here we're hitting the streets tomorrow.

What will ever satisfy them? Nothing. I have that song "Luka" in my head
"They only hit until you cry, after that you don't ask why. You just don't argue any more..." But I will not give them that satisfaction.

Exactly. The only one Trump might listen to is the oligarchs. The only thing the oligarchs care about is money. Quit working for a week or two and those oligarchs will be telling Trump to back down.

Welcome to Minnesota, fuckers. Also this is super disturbing because the ICE agent's assault rifle appears to fire as he falls down.

This was filmed by a friend near Chicago and Lake last night.

Courage is contagious. Every defection on a bill, important or not, brings further defection on other issues. It breaks down the illusion of invulnurability the regime needs

Increasing defections by GOP members of Congress, on ACA funding in the House and the war powers resolution in the Senate, and on science funding in both houses, show that you are right.

Yep, they're absolutely trying to instigate *any* event they can use, to justify implementing the Insurrection Act, Declaring Martial Law, and i suspect suspending the Constitution.

Because Trump talked about suspending the Midterms days ago;

Not an exaggeration at all to say that the feeling in Minneapolis is that the entire metro area is being treated as occupied territory by federal agents. Impossible to overstate how overwhelmingly people here do not like it. This does not feel sustainable.
