Snowboarding with a labmate at Axamer today. Polish guy skied since 10 yo. I was able to follow somewhat decent, especially on the steeper stuff, thanks to the superiority of snowboard over ski. Don't mind the end part of the video.

First time snowboarding at Schlick 2000. Amazing conditions, barely any people on the slope, and beautiful views. Now with slopes like Schlick opening, thank you Stubai, goodbye Stubai. I'll remember you as the icy mogul field where I first learnt snowboarding.

18.11.2024 physics Nobel laureate Wolfgang Ketterle visited our lab. He was super quick and thoughtful, despite the travel and heavy schedule. I somehow worked up the courage to grab a selfie together, mostly thanks to Zitian, my previous labmate and now a new grad student of Wolfgang.

Just finished Arcane. Art, music and story are all fantastic. Only watched this single show this year and I'm satisfied. Many art works question transcendence, Arcane is one of few that worked on me. We all make wrong choices, not as much as Jinx :), but they make life's experiences beautiful.
