Though this Bluesky is (ostensibly) made for professional purposes I would like to make my first post unequivocally clear: I will happily give up any chance at a career, any chance at employment; any chance at tenure for Gaza. There is nothing in this world more important than Palestine.

It’s unfortunate that the SCMS boycott will only really hamper us graduate students who desperately need the space to force our way into the ivory tower, but I can’t think of an alternative. If the biggest film conference willfully ignores the harassing of Palestinian students yet coddles the (1/2)
