Totally human, no question about it! Skeeting about cars, movies, and tech.

Small battery with that speed should feel pretty good. Not quite as quick as an eGMP car, but not bad!
yssman.bsky.social
Yeah this is a pretty compelling package all things considered. Especially if you’re into the way GM does (Chevrolet) EVs.

The Leaf might make an overall more compelling argument, each has some very specific things going for and against them.

My friend does a lot better with his IRL, so I’m guessing it’s a very conservative estimate
yssman.bsky.social
Sounds like the range estimate is from GM, not the EPA!
yssman.bsky.social
Electrek is saying 150kW on the 65kWh pack. Quoted a 26 minute 10-80% run.
yssman.bsky.social
That’s what I’d figure, too. My friend’s EUV is hella efficient, and this has the updated motor from the Equinox.
yssman.bsky.social
Gonna be interesting to see it compared to the Leaf S+ that has more range and the tech people want 😅
yssman.bsky.social
According to Electrek, it’s a 65kWh LFP pack, same motor from the Equinox, 150kWh charge speed for 10-80% in 26 minutes.

The LT Comfort model (heated leatherette seats) will be $30k with destination.

GM unveils new Chevy Bolt - same package, new battery, low $29k price
GM has unveiled the new Chevy Bolt and we got some hands-on time with it at an unveil event in Hollywood, CA.

I’m sure the larger EUV-like size isn’t helping. I guess I forgot that it was only rated for 247mi, so this is *technically* better.

Really curious where that LFP battery wound up size-wise, and which motor they’re using.
yssman.bsky.social
Well, here’s that 2026 Bolt announcement!

Updated exterior and interior (but not quite the same as the Ultium cars)… no note about the LFP battery, but a BIG reduction in range to an EPA estimated 255.

They’ve been on an insane hiring spree here in West Michigan, very disappointed to hear about the cuts.

Very odd choice to pull it for a few years… must have been something about moving the line and all that
yssman.bsky.social
I’ve got big hands and even I don’t like to stretch that far!
yssman.bsky.social
Give it a look if you’re out and about… I think what we’re seeing is a lot of the “affordable” brands are now give/take the same price as more premium ones.

In my line of work, more business/office oriented, everyone’s on eggshells waiting to find out if our tariffs are gonna skyrocket.

I continue to believe anything more than 5.7” is really just wasting space.

This month Criterion Channel has a John Woo collection , a Tsui Hark collection , and a Jean Rollin collection - not to mention a shit ton of great horror movies for October - it’s the only streaming service worth having, my friends

I think the craziest thing about the furniture industry at this moment is that the whole system really is a house of cards. Starting to get an idea of what price increases are going to look like next year, and man, I’m not sure how any of this is sustainable.

I think you might be right.

Once again going back to “the biggest sign that you’re bad with money is owing a Maserati.”

I keep forgetting about Apple Intelligence and then I get annoyed by it. As good a reminder as ever to switch it off!

Like we all know, light reskin of the front and rear… no shots of the interior.

Since the charge port is in the wrong spot, it doesn’t quite work in a Supercharger spot like it’s supposed to.
