some ppl are really quick to treat it as an easy Console Wars dunk on nintendo (and others are even going so far as to dunk on ALL JP game developers? huh??) and it's so disingenuous cuz nintendo released a game 2 WEEKS AGO that nobody's mentioned in that convo cuz it'd muddy their point with nuance

this is doing numbers, just wanna say my intent with this post is not to shame people but rather to spread awareness. i don't believe that shaming people into activism is a successful tactic. no ethical consumption, sure, but targeted boycotts can do a lot of good and they're a useful tool.
