I think it is past the time when NATO can expect words and meetings to resolve the Trump threats against NATO. It is time to place a small but symbolic NATO presence in Greenland and Canada. Confronting both Russian and American threats unfortunately requires a presence at both fronts.

How delightfully selective bodily autonomy applies to vaccines but not wombs. Apparently the Constitution protects your right to spread measles but not to choose motherhood. One can only admire such principled inconsistency. Freedom means infecting babies, tyranny means reproductive choice.

Hopefully the book ban in Alberta schools translates into increased business for book retailers and kids motivated to read to spite the government- silver linings.
