Your Prime Day reminder that half of Amazon warehouse workers struggle with food & housing costs.

A third have had to rely on government assistance like SNAP — which is about to get cut.

If Bezos can spend $50M on a wedding, Amazon can afford to treat its workers with dignity.

Have you also been receiving those scam texts about an unpaid toll? What about the ones offering you a job that seems too good to be true? Text scams are the cockroaches of our digital lives. They just won't die. www.washingtonpost.com/business/202...

In New York, ICE detained a busload of farmworkers that were actively involved in a union drive.

In Washington state, ICE dragged a farmworkers’ rights activist and leader out of his car to detain him.

Be warned: attacking unions is a hallmark of fascism.

There is an entire political movement that believes the statement “if you work full-time in America, you should be able to pay your bills and have a savings account with your paycheck” is radical.

We must come to an agreement that it’s not radical to demand that.

Shrinking cars would accomplish most of the goals of EVs with many ancillary benefits, like fewer deaths.
