No matter our opinions on the device(s) - I simply find a website sticking to their moral ground and making such obvious is really cool.

I understand people having passion for their projects, or their favorites, but like... do we *really* need to be an outright- judgmental asshole over these things?
Like, yea, I love Linux and debating it - however, I avoid certain posts just based off their... "fury", so to speak.

Didn't post at ALL yesterday. Our heat went out, so we were FREEZING in my house. Thankfully, it is now fixed - just had to replace the control board.

Hearing that GNOME has forbidden genAi extensions, for various reasons.
Honestly, given the reason(s) they state - totally understandable. I wouldn't want to have to review TONS of extra lines of code for the sake of having genAi, either.
Makes FireFox look... even worse, lmao.

Due to issues with my VPN & Arch Linux, I've decided to revert AGAIN back to Fedora. Ultimately, not upset about this, but I would've liked to have had Arch working for me.
It's a small issue for me only, really, but still. Fedora it is, and I'm all setup.

I'm... actually quite excited about this.
Jellyfin is seriously so rad. I cannot get over how much I love it. The fact it's free & supports media transcoding basically makes it a no-brainer for me over Plex.
Plugin support is for me, too, because I love tinkering so much. Just hella fun & even more useful.

As much as I love the Google Pixel 9 XL's design, the Ai crud is kinda annoying. I cannot OEM Unlock this device, unfortunately, so Graphene is not an option.
I can avoid most of it - there are ways and I'm tech-savvy *enough*, but still.

Finally stopped using basic-ass FireFox as my browser. If I'm gonna use FireFox, I'll at least use something more customizable.
Settled on Floorp. Installed from the AUR, as I don't want my browser as a Flatpak, personally.

I believe desktops having an official distro offering is good, and sets a standard, but it needs to be... absolutely polished.
