Took my son to the park after school and came in contact with a family with a son almost his age with the same name. They also had a daughter that was nearly my daughter's age. It wasn't until we left that I realized the dad REALLY looked like me... Getting weird out here.

My wife told me she had a dream where she was married to a trans Walton Goggins who was pregnant and it came to light that they were able to conceive because Odo from DS9 had shapeshifted into a uterus and taken residence within her partner and frankly I feel like this is the kinda fanfic we need.

I'm so ready to live in a place without damned stairs. Three of us now have taken a ride on The World's Worst Slip-n-Slide in the past month.

Assimilation complete. Got the kids home after picking up the boy from school and I asked him if he wanted to watch anything while they ate their snacks and he simply says "I just wanna watch Star Trek."

These kids of mine are absolute hell on wheels 80% of the time, but it's those quiet moments, like my daughter needing to hold my hand to fall asleep, that keep me from walking into the sea to become a siren who draws sailors to their death. I hear they have dental now, though...

I always assumed it was cgi. That's fantastic.
On TNG era Star Treks, they did stars outside windows using folded-up bits of foil/mylar glued onto black duvetyne, reflecting a bright light. I always thought it'd be fun to simulate it in CG for that very specific vibe and.. it kinda works.

I don't think I can truly express how delighted I am that my kids are getting into Star Trek. I started binging TNG recently and as time goes on they've progressed from minor interest to excitedly asking what's going to happen next. The old traditions are alive.

I used to say that I hoped something like what's going on in this country now would just go ahead and happen while I was still young enough to fight against it. Guess I got what I asked for.
Time to ready up.

Guess we're here now, huh? No better time to change things up a bit.
