Another day of feeling unwell. Another day at the clinic, getting advice on what I should and shouldn't do about my long-term cov¡d symptoms from unmasked health experts. I don't think I can roll my eyes any longer without them falling out the back of my head.

Zay has been in and out of the hospital and UCC with LC complications. They have been trying to reach a week or two goal since their hospital discharge to stay housed. 43 would at least cover today due by noon. Any aid is appreciated, including amplifying.

Glad to be working with UMedics on a protester health and safety training tomorrow. We need more of these around the city. We’ve got great street medics in Chicago, but we’ve learned lately that we need more people to know the basics of how to care for each other in protest scenarios.

Vallas would've had CPD attack the crowd protesting ICE after ICE shot a woman in Brighton Park, gassed onlookers, and then requested "assistance." It means something that Brandon Johnson did not betray us in that moment, and I won't forget it, even tho I've had my gripes with his administration.

Actually, it really matters whether your electeds are progressive. We are often frustrated on the left at what electeds can deliver, but we have to remember moments like this. Paul Vallas would NOT have created ICE free zones.

Got my first ICE call from a friend being detained this morning. They are Asian, here legally but they were detained for hours anyway and then forced to pay $600 before they were let go. Corruption from top to bottom.
