If ai works by using existing human-created content, what happens as people begin to rely on ai-generated content and stop creating their own? Do we just keep regurgitating and repackaging whatever we have right now? Isn’t that a major flaw in the idea? Feels incredibly shortsighted.

I have had to interact with (too) many people as I prepare to start grad school and it’s been a stark reminder that most people are very bad to average at their jobs. I’m being nice and patient, but dear lord. 😭 Also? 1999 called and they want their web design back. Freakin UI for masochists.

My mom was in a car accident this morning. She will be fine but she has a big black eye, swollen, and a loooooong row of stitches over that eye, along the eyebrow. There must have been a lot of blood and I know that had to have been extremely scary for her. She is 74. I want to puke.
