Finally got my YouTube recap! Its AI is a bit screwy though, as it thinks the thing I've watched the most videos on is managing my budget, and I can't think of a single video/channel I watch regularly that is about that or finances. Probably all the restoration channels I watch?

Advent Calendar Day 4 - a Boots Aqua Hydrating water gel moisturiser (that I'm looking forward to trying) from Boots 24 Days of Skin & a tube of No7 Day Cream from Macmillan (still have last year's, as spf moisturisers make me break out, so I only use them if I'll be in hot sun for more than 2hrs)

Still slowly working on my French. I always skip the spoken lessons unless they're a daily quest though. In general I do them while settling my son, so volume stays off.

I feel bad for all those people who fell for the awful AI advent calendars offering amazing looking products and providing stuff that is nothing like the content they advertised. Wonder what Amazon, etc. are going to do about this? As they are going to have a LOT of angry customers on their hands.

My heart sinks when I see that a YouTube channel I follow, who posts helpful, relatable content, has swapped to AI thumbnails. At least two have done it now, and it makes them look like scammy channels putting out scraped drivel when they are actually both genuine, caring, well researched ones. 😢

Good thread about the challenges of getting a diagnosis & the attitudes and judgements you can face as a result.
Sometimes, I come out of social media pissed off. People who have no idea what neuroatypism is, or what chronic illnesses are, come around and cast their ignorant judgement.

Every time I load up social media or the news I see society in the UK and US (and other countries too) collapsing faster and harder, in real time. It's like moving a rock. I shudder and quickly drop it, but the memory of all the crawling horrors remains.

I have now been using my Garmin watch for a year. It has definitely helped my fitness - mainly because of the badges. I have pushed myself to exercise when I don't feel like it because I am a completist & I NEED to get those regular monthly badges that I aim for!

Ugh! Have tried all the things I can find and still no signal to monitor after pc turns on & does the usual single start-up beep. Think I'm going to need a new motherboard, ugh! I am struggling with no PC. I have withdrawal symptoms. Phones are not the same!
