i hate to be a monocausal guy but i really think this discussion of masculinity, trade school, the gendering of education etc is beating around the bush. male democrats have seen no sizable drop in their desire to attend college. female republicans have. it’s about politics.

Reminder that if 5.5% of the US is LGBTQ, then a state with all of us would beat out literally every state except New York, Florida, Texas, and California by population.
Assuming trans people are 1% of the population (going with a conservative, rounded estimate), we still beat like 20ish states.
