a problem i regularly have is "do i mean affects or effects?" and usually i give up and use "impacts" because its a synonym for the one i cant get right

yesterday my boyfriend got really excited when i told him my eye color, he asked me because he was making me as a sim. technically my eyes are blue-grey with yellow flecks. he looked at me without my glasses on to confirm and then he was like WE BOTH HAVE HAZEL EYES! i was like, if you say so, okay!

my gi pain is severe lately like when i had ulcers & xtra strength gastric acid churning against them & i had to go on a bland diet + smoke more weed for a month to heal + sleep, i got painsomnia induced headaches after several days of no sleep. i was put on ~4 new gi meds at once too, it was a time
