If you get a copy of Sunday's @TorontoStar, there will be my op-ed about Allenby School, the diagnosis of measles, the polio epidemic of the 1950s, "Wall Ball" and 1 Spadina Street. BTW was the eastern playground covered in coal slag then? It was irregular, brown-black, abrasive.
