Shadow casting is ... starting to make sense. It is still terrible by sensible standards, but I have to start somewhere and it is not like I am using a game engine 😅

I guess I need more winter themed assets.
As for the particle system ... I think this will do for now:
Slow (CPU) ✔️
Sloppy ✔️
Barely functional ✔️
Now I need the top-down camera that renders a depth map. For certain purposes I have in mind... for a while.

Started working on a particle system. I plan it to be slow and primitive so I don't spend too much time on it. I have only a few select appliances in mind.

I smoothed the insertion process for new instructions.
So I removed the darkening overlay and preventing the popup to close... Well, technically it does "close", but a new one is replacing it. It is just another hack on top of everything, so who cares 🤷

The loading window I built. It typically shows for less than 1s, so I added a pause to record this.... I'll also add the version number. Which I want to have somewhat automated. Like incrementing a build number when making builds, etc.
