some, lakes hold heat longer now but IMO it's more in the fall when water temps will hover between 50-60 degrees for extended periods vs a slow decline throughout the season

Mka Ska and Harriet are always pretty slow to freeze: deep lakes, spring fed, heat bubble among why. Also there's not any big water in the metro that was iced over before today, that'll change tonight though
