The President said of the U.S. economy: "We are a department store, and we set the price. I meet with the companies, and then I set a fair price, what I consider to be a fair price, and they can pay it, or they don't have to pay it."

It's bad to destroy a cost-effective program protecting African children from AIDS. This is an example of @mattyglesias.bsky.social not being the "hurr durr, just do what's popular" caricature the left paints centrists as.
All these business guys have noticed that Trump’s approach to trade is ignorant, chaotic, careless, etc but I am begging them to see that *everything he is doing* is like this — decision-making just gets *worse* when he doesn’t have stock market feedback.

It’s not just trade
Trump is addressing scientific research, public health, and other crucial issues with the same lack of care

You know it's weird, I can pretty confidently say that I have never even considered doing a "heat of the moment" Sieg Heil.

Not sure what that is to be perfectly honest.

If housing is plentiful, then it’s cheap to give it to people in need.

The drone thing has smelled like nothing to me the whole time. Iran isn’t trying to hide its drones by covering them in very bright lights. If Aliens wanted to be this obvious, they’d just make TikToks.

I could be wrong, but I think people just get really freaked out by stuff in the sky.
