I don't think we can EXPECT people to clock AI, but we should definitely be educating folks on how to do so.

Also, we passed some AI regulations in Montana this year (ability to sue over AI-generated imitations of your likeness).

But yeah, I'm planning on bringing more regulations next session.

I noticed all these on my first watch through, except the timestamp. I then looked online, found the uncropped version with the additional error.

Also, generally: be wary of videos that look like porch cam or body cam footage. People are cropping horizontal SORA videos to remove the AI watermark.

Media literacy is going to have to start including ways to recognize artificial intelligence, as well as ways to identify & source factual material.

I know that feels hopelessly aspirational given the current state of things, but a girl can dream.

I’m horrified by Trump’s order to send 300 National Guard troops to Chicago. We’re only nine months into a four year term and already the president is trying to invade an American city. If you’re in the Guard, you can and should refuse these orders.

Political violence is abhorrent. I have not celebrated Kirk's death.

But Newsom calling for his followers to "continue Charlie Kirk's work," someone who praised stoning gay people as "god's perfect law," who called for men to "take care of" trans people like they did in the 50s and 60s, is not it.
