Last night my #dnd players returned to their detective agency to find out a local news agency had written a hit-piece on them. I had the players tell me what would be on it!
They spent 40 minutes after the session ended planning their revenge against the news agency.

Crashing the train, blowing it up along with Project: Manifest... it isn't enough. Time to finish this fight before something ungodly is unleashed upon the world.
Ok the players managed to find another solution besides derailing the train but I had this prepared just in case!

Playtested the TTRPG Vibe Check with the creator @redshiftedgame.bsky.social yesterday. It was a ton of fun, and exceedingly silly.

The Bastards Of Bastion (Bobs) are the cities ruling crime syndicate. All gangs north of the river pay tribute to the Bobs, and they operate as a council called The Trubunal.

As a #ttrpg player, it breaks my immersion when people are always ready to throw down without trying avenues like intimidation, bribery, appeals to better nature, etc
I wind up playing a lot of characters who challenge the worlds violent status quo because it's hard for me to just accept game logic

As a #ttrpg player, it breaks my immersion when people are always ready to throw down without trying avenues like intimidation, bribery, appeals to better nature, etc

I'm thinking the suggestion that the GM can use fear tokens to act twice in a row, or when it's otherwise not normally appropriate, was probably the closest to the design intent

Reading the daggerheart SRD.
I'm struggling to decode the spotlights design intent. Its organic, unless there's a a trigger, but the GM sometimes has to spend fear tokens to claim it?

Last night, my players boarded a train in search of a weapons manufacturer's project manifest.
Instead, they found Project: Manifest inside a locked and chained metal box. One player noticed the ':' was important, but she was driving the train! They opened the box.

This was probably over 100 hours of work, often 6 hours at a time.

Chaotic neutral is not a personality.
Everyone may get their fun in different ways, but characters whose only purpose is to be annoying and cause mischief that derails the flow of the session are not welcome at my table.

The continent Lumaria on the plane Materia. The city Engress sits on the southwest coast.
Lumaria is deeply scarred by The Great War, and with the industrial revolution running unchecked, it might never heal.
But that all melts away when viewed from orbit.

Oh this is a long list, lemme go ahead and post some screenshots instead. This covers some basic and advanced stuff, but it's a setup I made for a friend who's brand new to foundry and she picked it up quick.

I animated a battlemap in blender for a fight with a 2 headed fire elemental. The fight was awesome! Players were able to dive into the water to avoid attacks, where they encountered the bones of many fallen adventurers.
And this was only stage one of a series of trials!
