I was asked recently, what the biggest improvement in critical care that has occurred in my career: without hesitation, it has been vaccines. Varicella, HIB, Meningococcus type B, COVID-19, rotavirus and now RSV, on top of the previous ones. Diseases that used to cause so much death. #PedsICU

Nothing will kill more children than the ongoing decimation of CDC, NIH, and USAID work to lift vaccine uptake in the US and world.
