Other family traditions including undercooking the turkey, always forgetting at least ONE ingredient and/or dish and rushing to find an open store, fighting the gravy so it didn't become lumpy, and having to fight my aunt back while we insisted on cleaning up since she cooked everything, lol.

We did, but we made it from scratch by boiling potatoes and mashing them with milk or cream.

Pops always complained that they were lumpy, no matter how much we creamed them.

We frequently burnt out my aunt's garbage disposal with the raw peels.
