This painting revealed itself to me as I was walking down to Ocean Terminal. I'd never seen the sky look so blue, and a boat look so red, nor the crane so yellow.

This painting is available, as are prints. Felicityinkpen.co.uk

And then Collective Eggspectation arrived all in a rush a few weeks later. Both are pictures about friendship, community, the shared work of holding each other up.
The last prints of these flew the nest back in September, but the originals are framed and ready to take flight.

For day 11 of our #ArtistAdventCalendar ‘The Mistletoe Gatherer’, John Everett Millais, 1894.

For day nine of our #ArtistAdventCalendar, Marie Spartali Stillman’s ‘The Enchanted Garden’, 1889. Inspired by Boccaccio’s Decameron, despite the distant, snowy scenes, within the walls of Ansaldo’s garden spring is conjured to woo his beloved Dianora.
