This isn't to detract from your point, but TNG vs SFA is a bit of an apples vs oranges comparison, like it's not even possible for SFA to get "cancelled" mid-season, and streaming era shows don't really get cancelled so much as they get "not renewed" (and SFA was renewed for S2 before anyone saw it)

I liked that Badlands was more of a fun romp over other predator movies. Nioh is much closer to Dark Souls over Sekiro, it has a lot of the ninja gaiden DNA along with essentially an "active reload" for your stamina.

Random AA tangent, but I never liked the Manfred Von Karma being an abusive father figure hc. I think he was ruthless and demanding but always made sure his children and protegé had all their needs met. And yeah he still fucked them up with his stupidly high expectations, he was an hypocrite too-
