This is kind of a dark era for America. There hasn't been a really likeable candidate since Obama. Hillary was okay but pretty uninspiring. It's a given that Trump is awful. Biden was a placeholder it turned out. He had a tough job, sure, but his administration's inaction on J6 was inexcusable.

I asked a sportswriter I greatly respect what killed the "Kap era" of sports activism. I asked if it was Kap getting "blackballed" or Biden being elected. He said it was January 6th. He said that seeing just how savage the other side was willing to be, sent them into a cocoon of money & silence(1/2)

I most definitely have close to an aneurysm when I think about how the D's have responded in the Trump era. Yeah, sorry to anyone that disagrees but the Biden WH and D leadership deserve a ton of criticism...

But FFS, we gotta stop coddling the Electorate. They absolutely made all this possible.

There's no reason to think that those barrels will all end up stateside in this episode either. Prob talking 400-500 kbpd, not the full flow.

Was highlighting the 2019-20 falloff before; here's full chart with the Biden-era sanctions waivers and Trump's second term clamp down.

Biden & Garland did quite the piss-poor job.

Obama failed to keep his promise to rollback the executive office overreach.

Biden promised he was a 1-term President & would empower the next generation of leaders.

I don’t recall any Biden-era effort to harden guardrails or norms into laws.

and this was from Biden & Co's 90s era oversight...and more importantly, the hunting down of Second Economy tax evasion and adoption of "taxation is theft" by younger gens.

im not sure how fixing that works unless people get really FDRish really quick in 2029

There are rewards still in place from the Biden era on a lot of these individuals. Arresting the top dog inside a military base was quite a feat. These may take time If they can somehow stop the money flow they may just leave. Lets hope their plan works.

Essentially accepting and even in Biden Era this was clear the old order which was anchored by American power is gone so for now old rules don't apply. Trump is just making it explicit.

Among the saddest chapters in American history. Trump is to blame, but also McConnell, Garland and Biden.

And now? "Americans must summon the collective will to bring this era to an end and make certain that the violence, lawlessness and injustice of Jan. 6 do not endure."
