#Britannic
FYI @almakatsu.bsky.social, there's a COBI model of the HMHS Britannic (cobi.com/products/cobi-h-m-h-s-britannic-set-1681)
I finished The Deep not too long ago, and I guess it was still stuck in the back of my mind when I noticed the building kit. They have one for the RMS Titanic in the same scale.
COBI H.M.H.S. Britannic: Set #1681
Built from 636 COBI construction blocks, the H.M.H.S. Britannic (Set #1681) is 38.5cm long and 12cm high in a scale of 1:700. It precisely reproduces the shape and body of the ship and numerous detail...

Its name first appeared on a map in 1819, possibly inspired by the Britannic shape of the surrounding land. The lake itself was created after gravel extraction in the early 1930s.

The whole class of ship seemed to hunger for smaller ships!

When Britannic sunk in 1916, its propeller sucked in lifeboats

I'm pretty sure Britannic was mentioned in Nonary games. But the game was full of weird tangents, so I'm non sure if it ever led anywhere...

I'm a Britannic fan. I love her hospital ship livery!

Especially considering the fact (rumor?) that Britannic was originally supposed to be named the Gigantic, but had its name changed after the whole Titanic kerfuffle.

Titanic was the second.

Olympic was completed in 1911, Titanic in 1912, Britannic in 1914.

When Titanic sank, Olympic was nearby and offered to take on the survivors. It was summarily refused in order to avoid further traumatizing the survivors with the sight of Titanic’s near-identical twin.

Last year, a diving team entered the wreck and retrieved a number of items. Besides the legal ramifications of that these photos are great when studying the Titanic, being Britannic more similar to the famous ship than the more documented Olympic.

The Britannic is in remarkably better condition than her sister, the Titanic, in part due to having sank in less deep waters, and being protected by algae and barnacles. However, it has been more difficult to access it, due to geographical and political reasons.

Everyone knows about the Titanic and her sis ter ship, the Olympic. But there was also a third sister ship, the Britannic, identical to the Titanic, but was used as a hospital ship. Sinking in 1916 during WWI.
Well, last year, a team of divers entered the wreck and took these amazing photos!
