Is…is McCavity supposed to be Satan? Is this play an allegory for the afterlife? Are the cats souls in purgatory that are trying to get to heaven? It would explain why the city looks like London(?) but has an uncanny, eerie feel to it. #CatsMovie

I am learning from Twitter that a lot of y’all were terrified by CATS as kids. I was obsessed. I won’t get into how obsessed I was b/c embarrassing info will be revealed, but obsessed. Sorry in advance to other people in the #CatsMovie theater when I sing along the whole time.

Inspired by #CatsMovie, I’m writing a new musical, “Dogs,” about the one night when all the dogs gather together to sing songs about what kind of dogs they are and then at the end the oldest dog will decide who shall be The Good Boy.
