Cette loi est une attaque contre la liberté d’expression dont le seul but est de censurer les soutiens de la Palestine.
Elle nuit à la lutte contre l’antisémitisme.

Proclamer les slogans tels que "We are all Palestine", "De la mer au Jourdain, la Palestine sera libre" pourra être qualifié d'infraction pénale et justifier jusqu'à 5 ans de prison et 75 000€ d'amende! Gabrielle Cathala Texte 6 ARTICLE 1: Ses formulations juridiquement floues ouvriront la porte à des abus et à une application arbitraire/ Depuis le 7 octobre 2023, l'accusation d'apologie du terrorisme touchent celles et ceux qui s'expriment en faveur de l'égalité des droits des palestiniens ( dont Rima Hassan et Mathilde Panot). Il a pour objectif d'exacerber ce phénomène, de censurer le débat démocratique, et de criminaliser la solidarité avec la Palestine. Gabrielle Cathala Texte 7 ARTICLE 2: Fondé sur la définition très contestée de l'IHRA (Alliance Internationale pour la Mémoire de l'Holocauste), il assimile l'opposition au sionisme ou la défense d'un Etat garantissant l'égalité des droits entre palestiniens et israéliens comme un appel à la "destruction" ou à la "négation" d'Israël. Cette définition assimile la critique de l'Etat colonial d'Israël à de l'antisémitisme. Elle est rejetée par plus de 350 universitaires mais aussi par l'ONU. Gabrielle Cathala Texte 8: Ces 350 universitaires proposent une autre analyse de l'antisémitisme contemporain, la DJA ( Déclaration de Jérusalem). La DJA, qui a pour vocation d'être un outil analytique non-contraignant, indique notamment dans quelles situations des propos sur Israël et la Palestine ne devraient pas être qualifiés d'antisémites.

Il criminalise donc toute analyse croisée entre la Shoah et d'autres génocides. Gabrielle Cathala Texte 11: DIASPORA ALLIANCE note: "Ces approches croisées permettent de comprendre à la fois les spécificités des génocides et les mécanismes sociaux et historiques qui façonnent diverses formes d'oppression, éléments essentiels à notre connaissance historique et à la lutte contre les oppressions contemporaines, dont l'antisémitisme". L'article affaiblira le lutte contre l'antisémitisme et les autres racismes. Gabrielle Cathala Texte 12: Cette loi est en réalité totalement inutile pour lutter contre l'antisémitisme. Elle ne permet pas de lutter contre les nombreux mécanismes sociaux, politiques et économiques qui alimentent la haine anti-juive, notamment à l'extrême-droite. Au contraire, le texte participe à une essentialisation des Juifs de France en les assimilant à l'Etat d'Israël, tout en ignorant la diversité de leurs opinions politiques.

Taking into consideration Amenemhat III's legacy in the history of the Faiyum and the fact that this historical note is inscribed on the reverse of the Rhind Mathematical Papyrus, the toponym might only be related to the Faiyum through its specificity to the Dja-Dja Gates.
