As much as I don't vibe with the Fallout show, they took a much better approach; set a totally new story somewhere else in an existing universe. That works.

And that makes sense. Cowboy Bebop especially. So used to the English dub, that I couldn't watch with original audio. Legendary performances. I think I watched Cyberpunk Edgerunners 3 times. Twice in English, once in Japanese. And it works both ways.

Edgerunners was still a Trigger show first and foremost and plenty of people were not happy with Scott Pilgrim so I don’t agree with your examples. Also feel like you’re ignoring a lot of other examples like CR and Toonami’s originals as well as every other fully original Netflix anime
