I’m sure it had been said a lot but man, the Switch 2 version of FFVII Remake is jaw-dropping good. Even at 30fps, it just feels super smooth.

Las versiones antiguas siguen estando disponibles en tu biblioteca, no te quitan nada, simplemente vas a tener dos versiones de FFVII clásico. Es decir, te regalan la nueva. De la versión que tienes ahora no cambian nada. Es lo que hacen siempre.

I liked FFVII, but I still agree that is was a bit overrated. I have played many RPGs on the PS1 and while FFVII was good, it was not "the best"

I was so confused when I went back to see red's backstory and they said that they just fixed the hovercraft because I had no problem with it.

Replaying FFVII Remake. I abandoned my replay from 2021 in hard mode and started a new file from scratch (which is how I enjoy progression tbh) and it really just is surprising how great it is (and how rebirth improves on it in every way)

FFVII had prime time TV commericals. It was the first RPG that non RPG fans would talk about. It was the one time in high school where my entire group of friends were playing and enjoying it. And some classmates were enjoying it.

Yea, there's a degree of emotional response I think we're always going to have to deal with when there are those who can't handle others not agreeing with their opinions.
If someone hates FFVII, firstly, that's totally valid to me. Secondly, it doesn't change my own opinion on it at all.

Yeah for sure the main cast makes this one special for me, especially now seeing them brought to life with full voice acting in the remake. While I had played a few JRPGs back in the day before FFVII it was my first time really connecting and loving the main party as a whole in a JRPG. Special game.

I agree. I think there's always going to be those who just didn't resonate with any game, but I personally think FFVII is phenomenal overall. The OG, the Remake, Rebirth. The cast of characters is one of the most memorable in the whole franchise. I just love it.

I’m 16 hours into FFVII remake following a 15+ year gap since the last time I played the original and while it’s not my favorite FF personally, “overrated” is a terrible take IMO. This game changed my outlook on stories in games and what games could be as an art form after playing it the first time.

FFVII Remake 3 is going to be incredible and I don't think I'm prepared for it
I just hope they nail the parachuting sequence. It's my favorite scene in the original. I would replace Cid's theme with No Promises to Keep (instrumental, no vocals), though

Typically, only the composer is visibly listed on a song. You have to go into the metadata to see the arranger. In Rebirth's case, the arranger is almost always the person who worked directly on a track. "FFVII Main Theme - Battle Edit", for example, is the work of Shotaro Shima.
