Was going to make a xiv AU post but I’m thinking about Sylvain getting educated and then returning to the Steppe again to find out all his childhood friends are mad at him for leaving. And also Edelgard has several large missiles and thinks Faerghus has to be cut out at the root.

i personally disagree bc while they handled it haphazardly in AM i dont really like how they just made the agarthans a scapegoat for literally every political drama that happened within faerghus. just felt lazy to me esp bc thales and dimitri had 0 relationship the entire game anyways

The fact that Faerghus is the most traditional of the three nations makes it hard for me to imagine that women there would tend to maintain body hair but also.... Ingrid and Mercedes.... there exists a vision in my brain...

Dorothea confirms standing outside in the Faerghus winter naked is indeed cold, thankfully Sylvain will warm her up.

I do think the game makes up for this since his supports with the rest of the BL are fantastic! Also his connections to the BL and Faerghus are stronger than they might appear at first, with the Tragedy of Duscur being the reason put forth for Christophe's execution & Gilbert as his mentor in WC/AM

Worries that he made a poor choice by giving the Church asylum bringing Faerghus into the war right away. But it’s not to the same degree as Houses. Or at least feels more unnecessarily self-imposed in Hopes than in Houses. Anyway, my thought was what if he gets his tendency to overwork from his dad
